The Groundwater Management Board (GMB) was created to protect and preserve our drinking water at its source. GMB is a group of communities working together to maintain high standards of water quality and to educate residents and businesses about water protection.
GMB represents residents and businesses of the greater Lansing area and Michigan State University. GMB members voluntarily agree to meet high standards of water quality and are dedicated, through their wellhead protection programs, to protecting our drinking water over and above what is expected. GMB is one of the largest groups in the nation working to prevent groundwater contamination.
